Wycombe’s transfer business continues as they have reportedly agreed a fee with Bristol Rovers for 23 year-old defender, Connor Taylor.
As reported by Football Insider, the player is set to undergo a medical at Wycombe ahead of his permanent move to Buckinghamshire, ending his two-year stay at the recently relegated side.
Taylor was not in Rovers’ opening day squad, with manager, Darrell Clarke, confirming that he had handed in a transfer request. There was interest from League One rivals, Peterborough United, but Wanderers offered a better deal.
Connor Taylor was named the Gas’ Player of the Season last campaign, despite the side suffering relegation to the fourth tier of English football.
Wanderers will be looking to strenghthen their side following a play-off semi-final loss to Charlton Athletic, also losing to Bradford City last weekend in the opening day of the League One campaign.
