Leon King set for a move to Wycombe?

The Glasgowtimes are reporting that Glasgow Rangers defender Leon King is set to leave and sign for Wycombe Wanderers. The young centre back, 21, has been viewed as a bright prospect at Ibrox across a number of seasons but has found playing time limited at the Glasgow giants.

It is believed a number of English clubs have shown an interest in the Scottish centre back but the Daily Mail have suggested that Wycombe have moved ahead of the pecking order and now look set to confirm a deal shortly.

Last season, King was mainly used for the B squad whilst also having a loan at Championship club Queen’s Park where he played for the club nine times in total. More recently, he started in the Rangers match against Club Brugge on Sunday where the club have been struggling for defensive players.
