Michael Duff Appointed Head Coach

Wycombe Wanderers have appointed Michael Duff as their new Head Coach.

Michael Duff Appointed Head Coach

Former Huddersfield manager, Michael Duff, has been appointed Head Coach of Wycombe Wanderers following the departure of Mike Dodds which was announced earlier this morning.

Duff was sacked from Huddersfield last season after they were defeated four times in five matches, which saw the team fall out of the play-off positions. He also managed Championship side, Swansea earlier in his career, as well as Barnsley and Cheltenham.

During his time with Huddersfield, he had a win percentage of 47% and had his team fighting for the playoffs in the first half of last season, but fell into a poor run of form which eventually caused his dismissal.

Duff brings much-needed experience to Wycombe, something which Dodds lacked. A sensible decision overall and it’s what Wycombe need to hopefully help turn their season around.

The Chairboys face-off against Northampton this Saturday at Adams Park, hopefully there is a good first impression.
