Wycombe Wanderers have announced the deadline-day signing of Cauley Woodrow from fellow League One side, Luton Town, on a loan deal.

The striker, aged 30, started his professional career at Luton in 2011, making three appearances in the FA Trophy at only 16 years old, becoming the first non-league footballer to play for England at the youth level since the 1970s. He played for England at the under 17, 20 and 21 levels, making a total of 17 appearances and scoring six.

Woodrow also spent time at Barnsley, joining the club in 2018 on loan from Fulham, before making the move permanent in 2019. He went on to make 141 appearances for the Tykes, scoring 48 goals and leaving in 2022, making his return to Luton after 11 years away. He scored in the Premier League against Crystal Palace in a 1-1 draw.

More recently, he spent time at Championship club, Blackburn Rovers, last season, making a total of ten appearances before going back to his parent club at the start of the 25/26 campaign.
