Moore arrives with a strong family background of goalkeeping talent. He comes to the Chairboys after his most recent spell at Morecambe. Stuart has had a strong career spanning across the EFL. Coming through the Reading academy and featuring for Barrow, Swindon Town, MK Dons and Blackpool.

Moore featured for MK Dons against Wycombe Wanderers in an EFL Trophy clash in 2019.

The announcement comes 6 days after it was announced that Shamal Geroge would be moving out on loan to St Mirren for the 2025/26 season.

Head Coach Mike Dodds told Wycombe Wanderers: “Stuart’s a great person to bring into the club to work with our other first-team goalkeepers and make sure we’ve got the right depth in that department for the season ahead. He’s picked up really good experience at various clubs and we’re pleased he’s agreed to join us and be part of what we’re building here.”

Tom Stockwell added: “With Shamal George going out on loan, it left us short of a goalkeeper in the squad, and Stuart is the perfect profile to fill the role. He’s very experienced across the levels within the English game and he will provide a challenge and support to Will and Mikki. He’s a top professional and positive character, and we are sure Stu will be a strong addition to the group.”

The announcement also bought the first eyes to another new kit release, showcasing the new Lime Green goalkeeper shirt. This shirt will be in action in the Chairboys first league game against Bradford City.

Stuart’s move remains subject to EFL and FA approval, he’ll wear squad number 31 for the Blues.
