Wycombe Wanderers one of four League One clubs targetting Brighton Star

As reported by Football League World, Wycombe are one of four League One teams targeting Brighton academy star, Kamari Doyle. However, he seems to be in high demand, as it was also reported that Reading, Barnsley and Luton are also interested in the 19 year-old.

Wycombe are looking to strengthen their push for promotion, with the start of the 25-26 League One campaign only a couple of weeks away now.

The midfielder impressed last season, while on loan at Crawley Town and seems to have caught the eye of recently relegated side Luton Town as they hope to go straight back up to the second tier, Reading who seem to favour loan moves rather than permanent signings, Barnsley who hope to continue their business following a disappointing season and finally, Wycombe who are looking to do better than the play-off semi-finals this season.

Wanderers have already been busy this window, bringing in the likes of Mikki van Sas, Bradley Fink and Taylor Allen, and don’t look like they’re ready to stop anytime soon.

Doyle joined Brighton in the start of 2024, making two first-team appearances and is highly rated in the clubs academy. He also played for England in the youth levels.
