According to Pete O’Rourke of FootyInsider, Wycombe Wanderers and Luton Town have both had bids rejected for Bolton Wanderers midfielder, Aaron Morley.
Morley, aged 25, already spent some time with in Buckinghamshire, joining from Bolton on a loan deal in August 2024. He played a total of 23 games for the Chairboys, scoring two and assisting in four, and helping Wycombe climb to the top of the League One table by January.
In early 2025, his parent club, Bolton Wanderers, activated a recall clause in his loan deal, and in his last game in the light-dark blue quarters, he scored the winner against Exeter City in the 94th minute on 1st January.
The midfielder has made four appearances so far this season for Bolton in the league, and once in the EFL Cup.
Meanwhile, fellow League One side, Luton Town have also bid for Morley, Matt Bloomfield eyeing the striker as they look to return to the second tier of English football. He previously worked with the 25-year-old at Wycombe.
